Job title: Logistics Agent
Description: Role Overview:
- Monthly Reporting of logistics statistics and compliance ?
- Input to, Develop and review Construction Logistics Plans for each site ?
- Implementation of logistics plans ?
- Management of vehicle booking and compliance team. ?
- Liaison with stakeholders and supply chain ?
- Interface with BMB consents and construction teams ?
- Interface with Marine and Traffic Managers

Responsibilities:
- Compliance with works Information
- Development of worksite construction logistics plans
- Implementation of agreed plans
- Development of reporting system and review process
- Liaison with local authorities and stakeholders
- Attendance at liaison and working group meetings

Safety:
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety
- Contribute to safety initiatives
- Lead by example

Environment:
- Proactively take measures to eliminate/ minimise potential environmental impacts
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to environmental issues
- Actively participate in the identification of Environmental hazards and implement site control and preventive measures

Quality:
- Follow BMB management systems
- Be responsible for the quality of your own work
- Ensure continuous improvement

Engineering/Planning
- Understands key milestones and priorities
- Work to the deadlines required by the programme

Client/Communication:
- Act in the best interests of the Project in all dealings with the client, suppliers, workforce and public.

Commercial:
- Monitor monthly cost vs forecast for VMBS equipment

Experience & Knowledge
- Logistics or Construction Management Planning
- Document Writing
- Liaison with local authorities and stakeholders
- Client Facing
- Attention to detail and document review.
- Sound construction back ground
- Previous major project, preferably cross rail or Olympics experience either construction or logistics.

Qualifications & Skills
- Planning / sequencing of construction activities – can be experience in the role or training
- Meeting Chair/ Facilitation / Presentation skills
- IT document processing and web based systems – practical experience
